Sterile, indwelling urinary catheter similar to a standard Foley catheter, but with an additional third lumen. This extra channel allows for continuous bladder irrigation or instillation of medication, while the other two lumens are for drainage and balloon inflation. Available in various sizes (French gauges) and materials. Used when bladder irrigation is necessary to prevent clots or treat specific conditions.
